I was challenged by my dear friend and fellow world traveler Yusef the Adventurer about all my 'goddesy' stuff when he asked "What are you doing for the men? Stopped 'short with no answer, I said "Obviously not enough". So I looked around the Internet to see what's been done. I found a couple books, ordered them all and currently reading "TO BE A MAN" edited by Keith Thompson a powerful collection of essays from 1991.
So I asked Yusef and others to tell me what the Divine Masculine means to them. This is the first thoughtful piece: "Men: Do Something Painful & Seek Discomfort".
As they come in, I will share them individually and then collectively as an ebook. I am loving learning so much more about the masculine nature as it's meant to be, expressed with self awareness, emotional honesty and depth.
Add your voice to the chorus.
We are looking for contributors for this ebook project called "Divine Masculine". It's a collection of essays on the subject of the divine, the beauty, wisdom and truth of the masculine. All genders and identities are welcomed to submit an essay, prose, poetry, art, photograph and non-fiction pieces. Not looking for fiction at this time, but if you have a piece that really fits, please submit.
The ebook will be a downloadable with pics. This will become course material reading for a God/Dess University webinar of the same name. Proceeds of the book will go to the Library and as a selected contributing author you will receive a link for your social media use which will give you 50% of the net price. I found it a fair model to use that will continue as you as you have the link and we have the Internet. Proceeds will go to build the GU Library. I invite you to follow us on either Twitter or Facebook or subscribe to the website for updates.
Max word 10,000 words. Deadline for submissions September 1. Include a short bio, high resolution head shot, additional pic that may represent a visual image to your writing optional. Submit Here
